   That’s true, the welfare state changes everything from how it was before. Previously, it was a private system based on charitable contributions.

   The Immigration Act of 1965 also caused major changes in demographics by removing country quotas. It was introduced by NY Representative Emanuel Celler.

   You might want to search utube for Dr. Kevin MacDonald’s thoughts on immigration laws. Very interesting.

   Yes you are correct there are certain groups who have been duped, i.e CIA uses one of its Assets like Ayman al Zawahiri (so called Al Qaeda’s #2) to give his monthly shows on Al Jazeera rallying muslims to fight America, an illiterate Arab in Iraq sees this on TV and joins the so called Al Qaeda because the Americans killed his family.

   I’ve heard certain group of extremists refer to themselves as ‘Al Qaeda’, so you’ll need a better reason to convince me. Even if it was just a made name, apparently some Muslim extremists have adopted it.

    (cont…) America never had a “come one, come all” immigration policy. Even during the First Great Wave certain groups were excluded (re: the Chinese Exclusion Act). But even if it had been our policy to accept anyone from anywhere, it doesn’t follow that that should be our policy today. America didn’t have a welfare state at the turn of the century, and back then immigrants were screened for diseases. Who knows what these 12 plus million illegal aliens are carrying.

    Not sure if Al-Qaeda is getting stronger as Alyona stated, but they’re almost impossible to defeat. Even if every single Al-Qaeda member was killed today, that only breeds more hate, and the next generation of extremists will quickly emerge to get revenge.

    Such lying crap out of Alona’s mouth. Ameiricans want those jobs. But the Corporations want cheaper labor. Tyson Foods is famous for hiring illegals in their processing plants. And then after two months of not paying them, they call in US Immigration, to arrest them and haul them back to Mexico. Then they hire more illegals. Same thing is happening with the Super Highway that is coming up out of Mexico to Canada. Mexican Companies, are building the Highway, with Mexican labor.

    The only immigrant group that was welcomed in this country were those from Africa who were sold as slaves. Every other immigrant group was hated when they came until a new group arrived to hate.

    Alyona is on the wrong side of the immigration issue. Increasing the labor force by 12 million during a deep recession will increase the unemployment rate. Most illegal aliens are unskilled laborers who found work during the housing boom. Those jobs are gone now. If ex CEOs are finding it hard to regain employment (read today’s USA Today), so much the worse for unskilled labors who can barely speak English (if they can speak it at all). cont…

    These people create such a false argument in saying we have only two options, do what they want or do nothing. That is the argument of an intellectual thug and bully which is what this guy from CNN is. There are more choices than waging a war or doing nothing.
